Quality Assured Turfgrass

Quality Grown Turfgrass comes only from the selection of the highest quality seed blends available, providing a balanced family of grasses for your new lawn. Durability and colour of a lawn is enhanced with the addition of Dwarf Rye, whilst the Fescues and Brown Top Bents provide the finer leaves to increase the density of grass coverage over the soil. With a controlled feeding and maintanence regime, with mowing 4 times a week in peak growth periods, the end result is simply unrivalled.

The Turfgrass is grown to a standard set out by the Turfgrass Growers Association, which itself surpasses BS 3969 (Recommendations for turf for general purposes) assuring a consistant quality product to all customers at all times. The T.G.A sets guidelines on Grass varieties, soil medium, Turfgrass dimensions, strength and purity content of harvested turf.

Grass species

Grass species are sown consistly and do not appear ‘patchy’ ,whilst thatch is constantly measured to ensure a healthy habitat for the newly grown grass. The Turfgrass is grown on a Clay Loam, making it slightly heavier than some, but make the Turfgrass alot more adaptable for the differing soil mediums encountered in the South and West of Wales. Grown in a soil-based Biodegradedable netting, means the Turfgrass itself is strong, and will not split easily, even during the winter months were other products are hampered with a quality cut and breakages during handling.

The Turfgrass is harvested using a purpose built modern multi-stacking machine that can harvest Turfgrass efficiently and effectively. All stacking and wrapping is an automated process, whilst any rogue rolls of Turfgrass are dispensed with by the operator manually.

We also offer all Customers, an Installation and Delivery Service for our Turfgrass. Rates, generally given as £ per sq.m vary according to factors such as preparation, accessability etc. Once on site, our experienced Team can give any advise you may need on caring for your newly laid lawn.

Deliveries are carried out promptly, according to any requests you may have with regard to timescale, weather etc. Delivery charges are additional to the cost of the Turfgrass and vary according to the distance travelled and the quantity of Turfgrass required.

We regularly deliver to various Golf courses, Council projects, Caravan parks etc within the South and West Regions of Wales, whilst also serving various Commericial Establishments and Domestic Customers.
